Privacy policy for Tile Rush
This page lists every piece of data Tile Rush handles, why it handles it, and who else ever sees it. Nothing here is sold.
Last updated 15 January 2026
Who this covers
This policy applies to Tile Rush (package com.matinstudios.tilerush), the Android game
published by Matin Studios on Google Play. It does not cover any other app, including our other titles — each has its own policy, listed on the
studio privacy page.
In this document, "we" and "us" mean Matin Studios, and "the app" means Tile Rush. "Personal data" means any information that could identify you, on its own or combined with something else.
What we collect
Tile Rush handles the following, and nothing else. Each item says whether it can be tied back to you as an individual.
| Data | Why | Linked to you |
|---|---|---|
| Anonymous crash and performance reports | To find out which devices the game breaks on, so it can be fixed. | No — anonymous |
| Advertising ID | Used only when you choose to watch a rewarded ad, to serve that ad. | No — anonymous |
We do not sell any of it, and we do not use it to build a profile of you or to target advertising based on your behaviour.
Who else sees it
The app includes the services below. Each one is governed by its own privacy policy, linked here so you can read it directly.
- Google Play Services — Crash reporting and app distribution. Privacy policy
- Google AdMob — Serves the optional rewarded video ad. Privacy policy
Beyond these, we share data with no one. We would only ever disclose information if a valid legal order required it, and we would tell you unless legally forbidden from doing so.
Permissions the app asks for
Android will only ever grant what the app declares. This is the complete list, with the reason for each.
-
INTERNET— Downloads the daily board and loads a rewarded ad if you request one. -
ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE— Checks whether you are online before trying either of the above.
Optional permissions can be refused, and the rest of the app keeps working. You can review or revoke anything granted in Settings → Apps → Tile Rush → Permissions.
Storage and retention
Scores, settings and streaks are stored on your device only. Uninstalling the app deletes them.
Uninstalling Tile Rush removes everything it saved on your device. If Android's own backup service is switched on for your account, your device may include the app's settings in that backup — that copy is held by Google under Google's privacy policy, not by us, and you can turn it off in your device's backup settings.
Your choices
Depending on where you live, data protection law — such as the GDPR in the UK and EU, or the CCPA in California — gives you the right to ask what data an organisation holds about you, to have it corrected, to have it deleted, and to object to how it is used.
Because what we receive is anonymous, we usually cannot connect it to you in order to retrieve or delete it individually. What you can do at any time: reset or delete your advertising ID in Settings → Google → Ads, opt out of personalised advertising there, and uninstall the app to remove everything stored locally. If you want to ask us anything else, write to us at the address below and we will answer within 30 days.
Changes to this policy
If the app changes what it does with data, this page changes with it, and the "last updated" date at the top moves. Substantial changes will also be noted in the app's Google Play release notes. We do not quietly rewrite history — the policy in force is the one you can read here.
